The CM1683 Praetorian is an L-C EMI filter array with integrated ESD protection, specifically designed for headset speakers in portable electronics. It features two Pi-filters (C-L-C) with component values of 100 pF - 3 nH - 100 pF, providing effective EMI filtering and robust ESD protection. The device offers 8 kV ESD protection (IEC 61000-4-2, Contact Discharge) and 15 kV ESD protection (HBM), safeguarding sensitive components from electrostatic discharge. Its small package format and easy-to-use pin assignments make it ideal for mobile handsets, PDAs, and notebook computers, particularly for protecting speaker output lines and filtering data ports.
