Application Notes

  • When adjusting resistance, apply a force of less than 4.9N (500gf).
  • Avoid excessive force on the sliding part (operating shaft) during adjustment to prevent deformation or breakage.
  • Insert adjustment driver perpendicular to the sliding part.
  • Be careful of flux and solder scattering on the resistor surface and sliding contact during soldering.
  • This product is not washable.
  • Handle with care.
  • Adhesives for fixing the slider are not recommended due to potential contact instability.
  • Avoid prolonged soldering times or excessively high soldering temperatures.
  • For reflow soldering, cream solder thickness should be 100-150 m. Ensure appropriate solder amount to avoid insufficient bonding or solder bridges.
  • Recommended Soldering Conditions: Reflow (within 2 times), Hand soldering (within 400, within 3s, 1 time).
  • For applications requiring high safety and reliability, implement fail-safe designs such as protective circuits or redundant circuits.
  • Recommended storage conditions: Normal temperature (5-35), normal humidity (45-85% RH).
  • Storage period: 6 months from delivery.
  • Store in original packaging, avoiding direct sunlight and corrosive gas atmospheres.
